Even Meaner Girls

It has been several months since I first eluded to writing a weekly movie review. Since then I really hadn't seen anything that made me recoil in horror enough to warrant a post nor anything so good that I thought my friends just had to watch it...until today. Today, after the first of many test days from hell, I came home and watched Pretty Persuasion.
The film centers around ultimate mean girl, Kimberly, and her two friends. The threesome accuse their English and Drama teacher of sexual harassment, and the film centers around the events that lead up to and follow the teachers trial. Pretty Persuasion is dark and funny, creating a pointed satire of American culture.
Normally, I realize my reviews say a bit more about a film than I have here, but I don't think I have the stamina for an attempt at eloquence after my marathon test taking session this morning. Therefore, I encourage you to read this review of the movie if you need more information or simply rent it, it was great!

An unexpected relief
So the day after the stress-post-of-death, it was massage day in class. Yeah! Free massages! Now who wishes to come to class with me?

An attempt to post more regularly has been derailed
But here is a fun list that made me smile Manliest Musical Performances, because second to my love of horror movies (or maybe first...) is my love of watching singing and frolicking on screen.

Kudos to Jim Henson

Joe and I started watching a few episodes of Fraggle Rock last night while we were working out and I have to congratulate the whole creative/writing team that came up with the Fraggles. It is one of the few TV shows I loved as a child that I can still enjoy--mostly they're crap. Do not, for example, under any circumstance try to watch Thunder Cats. And, if you do, don't say I didn't warn you when you return from the emergency room having gouged your eyes out with the nearest blunt object.
If you like the Fraggles, check this out: Fraggle Movie

Biscuit Extrodinaire
Do to overwhelming response, I will explain that my fabulous sister Danielle has the ability to make-nay construct-the most extraordinarily large biscuits from simple Bisquik and water. So monstrous in fact, that Joe and I have taken to calling them the "physics defying biscuits" and she has graciously volunteered to act as biscuit extraordinaire for the group. Everyone give her a round of applause.
Also, the position of tech support has been added to the list and filled.
