Lack of Posts

Wow, Joe and I suck at blogging. I guess we will never be able to quite our jobs and live off of the advertisement money. There goes my plan for retirement.

As many of you know I am working only part time, emphasis on the part and not time lately, and so I have a lot of free time on my hands. To fill up my day I have been consuming a great deal of media; movies, tv, books, and the like. I also have been baking/cooking for fun. So that brings me to the question: Would you be more interested in posts that review movies/books or posts about my cooking adventures? Let me know what you guys think.

Seriously, I have been working on the same blog idea for almost a month now. It's a weird thing to feel like you have to "try and keep up with". It's a blog. I mean the internet is never going to fill up. What's the rush? But then again, it increases my sense of accomplishment and since my latest accomplishments consist of sending out hundreds of emails to craigslist employers and beating Metroid Fusion, I'm going to have to let blogging be on that list. So blog on. We shall pimp each other out.

First of all, congratulations on metroid fusion...

Now, I am personally torn on this issue. I am highly in favor of Casie's food adventures, especially because I am usually caught in the wake (she made these buffalo chicken things a couple weeks ago with a home made ranch dressing ... a-ma-zing). On the other hand, I feel as though I can be more involved in the movies/television discussions. I guess with the movies I don't have to do dishes, but then again, I don't get to eat anything either...

Well everyone, I pose a secondary question: what should I vote for?

I would feel like I have more to comment on as far as books and movies go, as we all know I care not what happens in the kitchen...however my co-workers are planning an international food day (pot luck style) and if no one stops me with a better !EASY! international recipe I will be bringing tortellini...
*like how none of the punctuation in that paragraph was used appropriately?

I'd be interested in reading about both. Your cooking adventures usually inspire me to try a new ingredient. Your movie reviews are equally cool because I usually have no idea what's out if it isn't on Rifftrax.

Both. The more cooking influences that are around me, the better the chance that I may eventually cook something more complicated than a sandwhich. Also book and movie reviews are entertaining, mainly because of your intelligent, witty prose. Maybe toss in a video game review for us nerds once in a while eh? In short, the more source material you give yourself, the more good blogging you'll do, the more snarky commenting I'll do. It's a winner!

I do enjoy both, and am not sure I could choose between them... Though for different reasons. I am more likely to be directly effected by your food commentary. Though I don't cook everyday, I am always on the lookout for a tried and true recipe. Even if I wouldn't like it myself, it is always good to know a variety of recipes to make for others, ie Danielle's potluck, etc. However, though your movie and book reviews are less likely to effect me, since I have more reading than I can manage and don't rent movies, I still enjoy them and feel I get something out of them. You keep me just a little closer to the rest of the world...
